Instead of outsourcing the development - it's going to be done in-house. This means there's two new roles being established within this much loved New Zealand organisation.

The Senior Java Developer will bring at least 5 years experience, come from an Agile environment and build a web development team, while adopting best practice and paving the right path for the wider business. You'll mentor the Development team, and work in synch with the Enterprise Architect, Applications Manager, Test Lead and Digital Marketing Manager. Provide skills and expertise in software architecture, analysis, design, implementation and deployment across the wider team.

The Intermediate Java Developer will also bring 3 years industry experience.

The remit? Java development, but you'll bring a broad understanding and experience of various coding methods such as .Net and Ruby on Rails. You'll be developing web based applications with Java MVC such as Stripes, Wicket, Tapesty, Spring. You'll have worked with JEE1.5/6, know frameworks such as Hibernate, and be familiar with GitHub and SVN. You'll know web platforms and frameworks, and also bring a background in web development languages; including HTML & HTML5, CSS JavaScript, and agile delivery tools.

Brownie points for OAUTH / OAUTH2 / XAUTH protocols, experience with noSQL databases, development on mobile platforms (including HTML mobile frameworks).
